Due to wet weather patterns and ODF declaring fire season over in SW OR, officials with the Rogue River-Siskiyou NF and the BLM Medford District are rescinding campfire restrictions in the Wild section of the Rogue National Wild and Scenic River.
The Upper Rogue Cooperative Travel Management Area (Green Dot) closure for the 2024 Cascade Bull Elk season will be in effect from November 6-15, 2024. The majority of roads on the High Cascades Ranger District are closed during this period.
The Butte Fork Bridge, located in the Red Buttes Wilderness, is closed to the public starting Oct 9, 2024 through Oct 1, 2025, unless rescinded sooner. Removal of the bridge is required due to catastrophic failure from decayed substructures. https://t.co/4P3a1b83Ki
