@notreallyheem@6GodLisan@swaveyxquis By your own logic that LOW can have a critique even if he has no athletic experience, why would TMAC being an NBA star but not necessarily 1A HOFer be a slight in any way at ALL? Lmfao
@notreallyheem@6GodLisan@swaveyxquis He didn’t say that. You’re being obtuse on purpose… he said TMac knows nothing about winning, there’s a reason he never won, and that him and Fox are one and the same. That’s pure hate and disrespect lmao and even if TMac never got out of the first round, he made the NBA
I said the Spurs got favorable officiating in the OKC series but nobody cares because OKC is the most hated team lol. It’s evident no with so many people rooting for NYK
@emmitonair John Stockton might be the most overrated player of all time give his performance compared to the fact that a non negligible amount ofpeople genuinely (in these comments) think he was better than Steph Curry at basketball
@TheDunkCentral He spends every show telling everyone the game is boring and he was watching reality TV or hockey or football instead…
Don’t break down pick and rolls, just make the GAME exciting. You can make all the same jokes without belittling everything… and he knows that.
@brunsonbur49526@FlashhSZN@mldiffley younger age than Wemby and averaged 30 that same season. I do believe that you remember him coming up short because NBA discourse nowadays is literally all based on shortcomings. Responding to that initial tweet with “but he played bad against Memphis” is hilarious lmao
@brunsonbur49526@FlashhSZN@mldiffley against inferior teams in the playoffs this year alone.
You proceeded to name a 7 game series loss to the best regular season team ever whose strategy was to load up on KD every play because nobody on his team could shoot, including his co-star.
He was mvp runner up at a
@ItsMeGinoB They’re not playing more aggressively than San Antonio, their best player is getting grabbed off ball and bumped on every drive and getting very few FT’s in return.
How many teams have we seen in NBA history? It’s the same as Miami’s insane whistle, the GSW illegal screens…
A lot of younger fans don’t remember but the best team getting favorable calls leading to an onslaught of favoritism crying was exactly how it felt listening to the LeBron Heat discourse. He would sell a foul 1-2 times a game and everybody would clip it and complain
probably end his career never having the chance to prove that because of how it went in Boston and how things got tumultuous here (he wasn’t our best player but if he and KD won a ring averaging like 27 and 30 a piece it would’ve helped his perception).
The discourse about Kyrie vs. Brunson or Shai skill wise is interesting. Shai is much taller, stronger, and longer which makes it easier to handle pressure and get to spots, he’s just better IMO.
Brunson plays on a team where he really is just hunting matchups and playing isol
Which we saw Kyrie do easily on Brooklyn, even in games where Durant and Harden were out. I think Kyrie has less durability than Brunson but in a perfect team with defenders, shooters, other scorers like NYK he could probably replicate it (and is a better defender). But he will
@JonesOnTheNBA@DimeDropperPod There’s plenty of spacing in these clips though lol… Dirk especially always had great spacing especially in his championship run. Clean catches in his spots and all clock to isolate.
I think perimeter players suffered more from lack of spacing back then compared to 4/5 men
If you want truly no foul drawing, watch Durant or Kyrie or Curry. Even then, some could argue that their lack of physical initiation and then tact to draw fouls hurts them a lot and guys like Jordan, Kobe, Wade, LeBron, etc. all had that advantage to their game. It’s a skill
The Thunder definitely get away with some extra physicality, but not a single soul acknowledging that Castle and their perimeter guys are grabbing and bumping SGA every possession and that he got 6 FT’s, mostly non shooting fouls, while simultaneously crying about flops is wild
Vassell is really good at making tough shots, feels like all the true championship teams have at least one guy outside of their superstar who can just make tough perimeter jumpers. Especially late in the clock
@BillSimmons It’s getting ridiculous when people your age are making comments based on emotion. As someone who has no fandom towards either team, are they not bumping, pushing, and hugging SGA on and off ball?? In what world should Wemby not get the same physicality?
