Honored to receive Comsats University Islamabad - Islamabad Campus first-ever Alumni Excellence Award in Social Impact & Community Service, presented by Honorable Rector Dr. Raheel Qamar, T.I.— selected from alumni across all COMSATS campuses nationwide.
Being the inaugural recipient in this category means something specific. It recognizes years of work at the intersection of research, curriculum development, and grassroots capacity-building — work I've pursued as Founder & CEO of Mediatiz Foundation. In just two years:
→ 1 million+ students registered
→ 20,000 teachers trained
→ 7,000 schools onboarded
Along the way, we introduced Pakistan's first government-approved, bilingual curriculum on Media & Information Literacy — the foundation for my book, Media Mind, over 1 million copies of which have been distributed free of cost to students in underprivileged communities. We also launched the country's first comprehensive, internationally aligned, bilingual K-12 curriculum on AI & Robotics, and have since expanded into social-emotional learning, environmental literacy, and dedicated programming for orphans and madrasa students across Pakistan.
I'm grateful to the mentors, colleagues, and institutions who made this journey possible — and to COMSATS for creating an award that looks beyond conventional career metrics. The honors a university confers signal the aspirations it hopes to cultivate in its graduates.
This isn't a destination. It's a mandate — to widen access, deepen partnerships, and keep education reform moving from policy to classroom. This is just the beginning.
Whoever is mindful of Allāh, He will make a way out for them, and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allāh, then He alone is sufficient for them.
[Sūrah at-Talaq, Verse 2-3]
Rabbighfirli – My Lord, forgive me
Warhamni – Have mercy on me
Wajburni – Cover my shame
Warfa'ni – Raise my rank
Warzuqni – Give me sustenance
Wahdini – Give me guidance
Wa'afini – Make me healthy
Wa'fu'anni – Pardon me
Almighty. Keep our hearts and faith firm in these hard times. Help us to not be discouraged although we’ve been waiting for some time. Help us to keep asking You. We know good things take time and You’re indeed the Best of Planners. Aameen.
A Memorable Weekend at My Alma Mater
I had the privilege of spending a truly inspiring weekend at my alma mater, Abbottabad Public School, engaging with visionary educators and stakeholders committed to transforming the future of education.
A particular highlight was meeting Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Founder of Akhuwat Foundation, and exploring opportunities for collaboration on impactful development initiatives, especially in the areas of modern education, innovation, youth empowerment, and capacity building.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Principal, faculty members, and administrative staff of Abbottabad Public School for their exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to educational excellence. Their support and kindness made the visit both productive and memorable.
The journey has only begun. Several exciting initiatives are under discussion, and we remain optimistic about building strategic partnerships that will contribute to a brighter and more innovative future for our students and institutions.
More to come, InshaAllah. The future looks promising.

This world is temporary. You’re on a journey. You’ve not reached your final destination yet. An eternal abode awaits. The Hereafter. So quit stressing over everything that happens. Nothing lasts. Let the Almighty take over after you’ve done your best.
People have become more self-centered. They don’t try to understand the feelings, needs & problems of others. They’re keen on satisfying their own needs, even by hurting others. Don’t let up. Continue spreading values of honesty, sincerity, integrity & compassion.
Whenever your heart truly wants something to happen, whisper this:
اللَّهُمَّ خَيْرًا فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ اِنْتَظِرُهُ
Allahumma khairan fii kulli amrin antaziruh.
“Ya Allah, grant me the best in everything that I am waiting for.”
Almighty. Protect us from the evils all around. Grant us the strength and good patience to cope with our trials. Help us surrender to Your Decree because You know what we don’t. You know us better than we know ourselves! You know what we need. You know what’s best for us! Aameen.
Back to Pakistan 🇵🇰
Alhamdulillah, after a blessed and transformative Hajj journey, safely back home. Grateful for every prayer, every step, and every moment of Allah’s mercy.
الحمدللہ
If you are Muslim, say this du’a.
𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁.
Ya Allah, Ya Al-‘Aleem, You know what I never tell anyone. Ya As-Samee’, You hear the du’as I only whisper in my heart. Ya Al-Qareeb, stay close to me when I feel alone. Ya Al-Wakeel, take care of the matters keeping me awake at night. Ya Al-Kareem, give me more than what I ask and better than what I expect. Ya An-Noor, illuminate the dark corners of my heart. Ya Al-Wadud, make me among those whom You love and who love You sincerely.
Rabbighfirli – My Lord, forgive me
Warhamni – Have mercy on me
Wajburni – Cover my shame
Warfa'ni – Raise my rank

Most Muslims know about the evil eye.
But nobody tells you there's a sin
that makes you *attract* it.
And most of us commit it daily without realising.
#Hajj was never a journey of miles; it was a journey inward.
Among millions of pilgrims dressed alike, every title, designation, achievement, and possession quietly faded away. What remained was a profound truth: we come from #Allah, and to Him we shall return.
By the grace and mercy of Allah, we have completed Hajj. Over these blessed days, we walked through immense crowds, endured fatigue, heat, long distances, and moments of physical weakness. Yet what once seemed like an overwhelming task became possible only through Allah’s help and guidance.
From the sacred plains of Arafah to the nights spent in Muzdalifah and Mina, and from the spiritual experience of Tawaf and Sa’i to the symbolic act of Rami, every step served as a reminder that success is never solely the result of our own efforts. It is ultimately an invitation, a blessing, and a mercy from Allah.
Hajj teaches lessons that extend far beyond the pilgrimage itself: humility over status, gratitude over entitlement, patience in the face of hardship, and purpose over distraction. It reminds us that true peace is not found in having more, but in surrendering more to the will of our Creator.
The real treasure lies in the transformation of the heart and the lessons carried forward into everyday life.
I pray that Allah accepts our Hajj, forgives our shortcomings and sins, grants us steadfastness on the path of righteousness, and allows us to return to His Sacred House again and again. May He bless all those who long for this journey with the opportunity to experience it. Ameen.
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ 🤍
