Give it 5 years, legal escalation is slow as hell. All the ammo tax suits are still in State court and feds are unlikely to intervene until that avenue is exhausted.

The Supreme Court can only rule on questions put to them, and this particular law was so beyond the pale that even liberal justices couldn’t do a “guns bad mmkay” under current case law
