1) To prepare Israelites to receive Messaih ( Malachi 4:5-6, Mark 1:2-4 , Isa 40:3, Acts 19:3-4)
2) To manifest Jesus Christ the Messaih to Israel (John 1:30-31)
3) To manifest Jesus to John the Baptist that ( John 1: 32-33l
