Controversial British Shia lecturer Sayed Hussain Makke will be delivering lectures at the Al Mahdi Islamic Community Centre in Pickering between June 15th and June 25th, 2026.
In addition to lecturing, Sayed Hussein Makke worked in film production (winning awards in Iran), spent a decade studying in Shia seminaries in Lebanon, and runs youth camps (the Spiritual Warrior Project) combining religious studies with combatives.
He attended the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and has spoken positively about “resistance” movements.
His youth camps have drawn significant criticism for their part in potential radicalization, for example - participants were noted to be celebrating Nasrallah as one of the “greatest freedom fighters”.
In 2025 his visa was cancelled prior to a speaking tour in Australia.
The same happened prior to events in Austria.

A Muslim preacher in Britain openly stated that Israel is winning because Allah hates the woke pro-Palestinian LGBT allies of Hamas in the West.
According to him, while Western gay and trans activists see themselves as supporters of the destruction of Israel and its entire Jewish population, Islamic law commands Muslims to kill them too—as human sacrifices for Allah.
In other words, the same people waving Palestinian flags at “Queers for Palestine” rallies would be executed under the Sharia laws they are helping to promote.
This is the reality of Islamist ideology. They don’t “coexist” with Western liberals. They use them as useful idiots to advance their agenda—and then turn on them the moment they have the power to do so.
Islamists don’t want allies. They want

Former Canada's Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Gen Wayne Eyre "We need to be very wary about pivoting to China at the expense of the US. Geography matters and we are neighbors and we share a continent and that's not going away.
"And we just need to go into any future relationships eyes wide open." @wd_eyre

CHRONOLOGY OF ATTACKS ON AFRICAN STREAM
For the last three years, African Stream has done what it was created for: fearlessly expose the crimes of imperialism against our people on the continent and in the diaspora. From Cape to Cairo, Haiti to the U.S, we have brought to light issues that many influential people in Western capitals would rather keep under the carpet. For this, we have been made to pay a high price, a price that has resulted in us closing shop for good.
When we started the project, we were not naive. We knew that our work would attract the wrath of the empire and its local cronies. However, it was work that had to be done. We could not let fear prevail.
To bring us down, they had to resort to the centuries-old script that portrays any African who stands up against oppression as being sponsored by some third force out there. To this end, the U.S. government and its allied entities have accused us of being a Russian propaganda outlet, but without any evidence.
Despite our accusers failing to substantiate their claims, social media giants took down our accounts without asking the U.S. government to provide any evidence to back their allegations. Well, we guess that the U.S. is so trustworthy that the world can believe whatever it says. After all, it didn't lie about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. It didn't even lie about the Gulf of Tonkin incident.
The attacks by the U.S. government and the subsequent de-platforming by social-media giants have made it impossible for us to carry out our essential work, forcing us to make the difficult decision to shut down African Stream. This video, our heartfelt farewell to you, our esteemed followers, provides a detailed account of the events that have led to the closure of African Stream.

@OlenaRohoza What if African countries continue to reject “Western imperialism” and Russia gains significantly more interest in the region. Could the 30 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe benefit Russia?
