South African leaders must understand that there is no strategic benefit in aligning with a regime like Iran's or pursuing Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Let the Arab nations do that — not South Africa. In geopolitics, sometimes a statement is enough; you don't need to act on it. Siding with Iran against the US and Israel isn't helpful. It's a blunder that will end up hurting ordinary South Africans.
