Our sports leaders are currently at the Tipton Sports Academy, hosting the KS1 Rocket Fuel cricket competition.

They are leading the event as well as officiating each game. Excellent work so far!

The Y13s @Gospel_Oak_ have now been challenged to come up with with the answers to common questions using the STAR technique. This prep will help them to for any future interviews they attend. Next up...where to look for degree apprenticeships.

Personal Development Day @Gospel_Oak_ and we've recreated a mock assessment centre for the Y13 apprenticeship group. They've had the brief and will be presenting their ideas. Looking for teamwork, leadership, problem solving, creativity, communication, influence & problem solving

Thankyou to alumna Steph for coming in today @Gospel_Oak_ to deliver a careers talk for our first #FutureFriday lunchtime conference. Steph is a forensic scientist @KeyForensic, she shared information about how her role in drug analysis plays a part in convicting drug crimes.

She spoke to students about all the roles @KeyForensic and her pathway. She shared tips and advice for any students considering a career in the sector or those that were interested in just learning more! Year 10 & 11 scientists and Year 12 & 14 criminology students participated.

The Year 10 Health & Social group visited the 'Inspire My Future' Show last week at Millennium Point.  It was an opportunity to research future pathways, learn about the labour market and network. They learned a great deal and had an enjoyable time!

Students @thersaacademy completed virtual WEX with @speakrs4schools.Alex was at @USTglobal looking at careers in Tech & Jack at Empowerment Training pursuing careers in the sports industry. The VWEX allowed them to gain vital industry insight and learn about different pathways.👏
