@BadgeBrighton Thank you for letting us know about this. I have passed it to our colleagues in the Estates & Facilities team who will be looking into this.
Eastern Road will be closed on 12th & 13th November where it passes the 3Ts Redevelopment site at RSCH. During the road closure, traffic will be diverted to the south of the hospital along St George's Road. All the hospital's entrances and buildings will remain open as usual.
From tomorrow until 6 November, Eastern Road will be reduced to a single lane in front of the new building at The Royal Sussex County Hospital.

⚠️Bristol Gate Works⚠️
Overnight resurfacing works will take place at the southern end of Bristol Gate between Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th October 2022.
Bristol Gate will be reduced to a single lane while the works are taking place.
We apologise for any disturbance caused.
Thank you to everyone who suggested a name for the Stage 1 Building at the County Hospital. We will now review all 690 entries and make a short list. Our Board will make the final decision from that list, and the name will be announced towards the end of the year.
Did you know? The first of 3 new MRI’s has been set up in the Stage 1 Building at the County Hospital? It is next to one of our new neurosurgery theatres and will allow images of patients’ brains to be taken during operations. It’s called an intraoperative MRI. #didyouknow#3ts
It's 6 months until the Stage 1 building opens at the County Hospital. Want to know more, what it will mean for patients and visitors, and what happens next? Then come along to the next Hospital Liaison Group meeting. Monday 5th Sept, 6pm, Audrey Emerton Building, Eastern Road.

Discover the brilliant ‘Crucible’ by @DanielULocke that will greet visitors on the ground floor of Stage 1. It brings to life the County’s rich history, from its origins as a sea-bathing hospital to its life-saving research work today. 2/2

When the Stage 1 building of our Royal Sussex County Hospital redevelopment opens in spring 2023, it won’t just offer a new home for many wards and services. It will also showcase the work of local artists through the Connect public art programme. 1/2
@EmmaMarze Hi Emma, I am sorry to hear you are unwell, but pleased to see you are receiving excellent care. I am tagging the main account for the Trust (@UHSussex) in this tweet so they can pass it on to the relevant people. I hope you make a speedy recovery.
Take a look at Level 7 of the Stage 1 building, which will be home to Critical Care. Members of the Critical Care team visited the area recently to take a look at the specialist medical equipment and the improved environment for both patients and staff.

Did you know...?
The Stage 1 Building will be the new home for the wards and many of the services from the oldest acute hospital building in the NHS, the Barry Building. It opened in 1828, 20 years before Florence Nightingale started nursing. Time for a change.
