A reminder of the upcoming "Bruce Brydges Memorial Ride" that will take place on Saturday February 22, 2025.
The route will begin on RSC trails, through B.E.A.S.T trails and back to the RSC club house at Pierce's Corners.
Register at Pierce's Corners from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
Regretfully, due to the low snow conditions in the North Gower area, the annual Rideau Grand Poker Rally scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025 has been cancelled.
We all did our snow dances, but didn't quite get enough to open remaining trails.
The groomers have been out doing what they do with the little snow we have and managed to get a section of trail open! Hopefully more to follow with more snow!
Please remember to always check the ITG before you ride to ensure trails are open.
Hundreds of grassroots volunteers across Ontario recently gathered in Muskoka representing 181 community-based snowmobile clubs of the OFSC. Clubs also approved Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permit fees for the upcoming season. Full details available here: https://t.co/wq8TKm9mDj
Our new groomer was repaired on Saturday.
We also got the Upper Canada Snowmobile Region - OFSC District 1 groomer and had both out on trails all weekend and on Monday.
It's unfortunate that our nice new groomer purchased this summer has encountered a mechanical issue the first week using it. The groomer is in the shop and we are working with the Upper Canada Snowmobile Region on getting a temporary replacement.
ATTENTION: We are proceeding with the Rally on Saturday February 4, 2023.
It will be a 50/50 draw instead of a Poker Run due to the limited time to co-ordinate now that we have an operational groomer.
