Another busy day at reserve #SavisWarbler again we urge all visitors to respect neighbours, #Otmoor lane is very narrow with limited passing places. Park in marked areas, very limited parking. Pay for parking 😊. Keep the damage to banks to absolute minimum. Thank you. Enjoy.

Long day of travelling yesterday, Yorkshire to Portsmouth

I did not have time for my usual detour to @RSPBotmoor

Stopped for a brief walk along the Thames at Oxford instead

A rewarding trip to Otmoor yesterday evening resulted in 58 species including great views of a Bittern to the right of screen 1 at about 20:05. Great reserve and love the new wetland work. @RSPBotmoor #otmoor

Turn left. There is a green expanse in front of you. It’s called Greenaways. Most are spotted flying over here. Thou, you can see some anywhere on the reserve in the height of the summer. 👌

Today Theale GP……Nightingale and this rather showy Garden Warbler.
