@CP24 Insurance needs to be regulated. You have to have it to drive but the insurers can charge whatever they like, and refuse to cover your personal or business needs.
Literally it is legislated theft.

@NiallHarbison We took in an owner-surrender from a female great Pieranese / Cormadore that was completely shut down. Dog was sent to a Board and train in the US that charged mid-5 figures and shock collared the hell out of the dog. Family divorce as well. Dog didn’t even know how to sniff…

@alandrummond2 …got MRI next day paying $500. got in through self advocacy to NeuroSurg - said bumping out Next OR Case 2 for me or else I’d be in wheelchair. Call returned from NS referred by family doc >1 yr post surgery. Lots of broken pieces in healthcare.

@alandrummond2 I went to my local hospital just north of GTA, admitted unable to walk. Shifted in bed, felt pop and immediate parasthesia from glutes down. No neuro surg would see me without MRI. Up to 14 day wait as inpatient,6-8 wks as outpatient. Signed out & went to Buffalo MRI…
