Paul Firmin from Leeds College of Building @WeAre_LCB came in to talk to our year 10 Construction pupils about the many careers in transport and planning and the routes that can get them there within the college #careers#LeedsCityCollege#construction#WeAreRoundhay
Year 8’s have started working on their mirror rotation pattern repeats and they’re looking awesome… can’t wait to see them sublimated onto satin fabric!
Year 7’s started producing their drawings pages in textiles last week, they’re looking great and students will have loads of inspiration for their design ideas going forward…
Exciting to invite local designer maker @JustLovett_UK into school to talk to year 9 DT Arts Awards students about setting up and running your own design business. They all got a great insight into how the skills they’re learning can be linked to industry #DTdesign#localbespoke
There’s light at the end of the tunnel....the tunnel being the term and the light being our amazing yr 7&8 projects. Well done to our textiles pupils for completing their textiles project in such a challenging time. #choosetextiles#teamtextiles#teamroundhay@RoundhayHead
