@AutoPap Fully agree. We kid ourselves we make money on cars. Some have been good - best ever for me my CGT. But take in to account all the costs, including the opportunity cost of the cash, and it’s hard to make a real profit. My view is if I get back what I paid for it that’s a win
@ListerLawrence Never driven one to be fair. But I’m now on my second GTO and for me it’s the best sounding engine ever and I like the simplicity of the interior and the lack of electronic trickery. Have a read of this Ferrari 599 GTO v F12 tdf v 812 Competizione

@SupercarOwner@sniffpetrol@Rubystone911@hjwakerley Company and F1 separate entities and different ownership. The sale of deal naming rights to the F1 team means he can now handle each individually.
I hope the company survives as the products are now excellent. Had a DB12 as an extended courtesy car and it was excellent.
@SimonCarGuy I saw that. Ridiculous. I was on a political trip a few years ago and there was no regard for supporting British brands either by No.10 or the Civil Service. You would not see this from any other country. Sad and bizarre
The Scramble continues to be a very enjoyable event to attend, helped today by the sunshine.
@EncorDesign Series 1 looks and, just as importantly, sounds wonderful
It’s been great fun to be part of @theintercoolerx journey from the beginning. These digital publishing award nominations are very welcome and recognise the team’s genuine achievements. It’s flattering to be considered alongside many much larger and established publications.
It’s not every day a small independent publishing company like ours is shortlisted for an award alongside household brands like The Sun and The Telegraph, but today is one such day. The Digital Publishing Awards 2026 shortlists were announced this morning and we’re beyond proud to say The Intercooler has been nominated in two categories – Best Online Brand: Consumer and Small Digital Publisher of the Year.
The timing is just about perfect too – we launched The Intercooler as a new kind of online car magazine five years ago this week. We didn’t imagine we’d be keeping such esteemed company only a few short years later.
The other nominees in the Best Online Brand: Consumer category are Radio Times and Rock Sound, as well as The Sun and The Telegraph. And in the Small Digital Publisher of the Year category we’ll go up against Solli, SoPublishing and Trending Now. The winners will be announced on 11 June and while it would be wonderful to scoop an award or two, we are delighted just to have been shortlisted. We wish all the other nominees in the various categories the very best of luck.
