I caught my husband asking my sister for just one round at 1:00 a.m.
I thought the problem was what he was asking for.
Then I heard my sister say:
“Are you sure she won’t find out?”
My stomach dropped.
I stood outside the guest room, completely frozen.
My husband had been sleeping beside me every night.
My sister had been staying with us for three weeks after losing her job and needing somewhere to stay.
And now, at 1:00 a.m., I was hearing this.
My husband lowered his voice.
“Please. Just one round. I’ll pay you back next Friday.”
My sister sighed.
“You said that last time.”
I almost opened the door.
Instead, I pulled out my phone and started recording.
My husband continued.
@1NewsNZ This was the strangest story. Based on how the MOE person explained it, the Mum in the story is doing nothing wrong by keeping her daughter in the same school when they move out of zone.
@slow_tri_guy 2/2 this will mean the manager has to actively oppose the redund amount requested via tenancy services.
If they don't respond to that request within 4 weeks the bind refund claim will be approved.
As others have noted, the standard to be met is "reasonably clean & tidy".
@slow_tri_guy 1/2Charging a fee is a dirty tactic, designed to make people believe its legit.
Claims should come out of the bond. Your son and his flatmates can complete the bind refund form themselves and send it to tenancy services w/o the property managers signature.
@1NewsNZ The trouble is, not all part time work is =.
Should part times who work 5 days/wk have their sick leave calculated the same as part timers who only work 1/2/3 days/wk?
What about people whose hours fluctuate?
What about people who have part time contracts but do full time hrs?
Would any of you lovely people like two tickets to NZSO tonight at 7.30pm in Auckland? Mr B and I aren’t able to go but I’d hate the seats to be empty. It’s Mahler 5 btw
