My COUNTY tax went up over 24% ($266) from last year even with Over-65/Homestead exemptions. Last year, County tax was 28% of the total bill; this year it is 32%.
I decided to walk around in my yard and see if I could find that tree that County officials think money grows on. Haven't found it, but I bet there will be some jaws drop by taxpayers who had no idea this was coming.
