@helldivers2 While we're trying to survive. Please consider rewarding our efforts by making higher difficulties contribute more to the war. We're being punished for playing on higher difficulties.
@helldivers2 Does the difficulty of the operations affect liberation contribution? It feels silly that a "suicide mission" operation only contributes 3 times as much as a "trivial" operation. Considering it already requires 3 missions.
@rofldrg @FrostyTVstream I saw my win rate increase actually. Partially because I got better at it but I think a big contributer was many people trying to get solo instances instead of competing. It's possible the amount of cheaters is also lower on my DC, but I don't know.
@llamatodd @LuxAzureXII No one is cheating because they "hate the netcode". Cheaters gonna cheat. Haters gonna hate. They're just poor sports with skill issues.
@llamatodd @LuxAzureXII The issue many of us see is that, instead of having a poor experience because of several potential reasons, people are inventing reasons to be mad that don't even exist. :D
@Jinn_Z0@Xepla It's definitely possible. I think I saw 2 of those in all my games. I don't know how it is on other data centers. But I feel like I woudn't have the title with a 74% winrate if there were so many cheaters around me.
Though, I do know very top players play similar. So who knows
@Xepla Many people say it is poor netcode. But is it?
Is the exact location of other players so important? For the purpose of the game it is not so on your end their location doesn't get updated that much. But whoever wins on the server side wins. It's just fair.
@Xepla I have near 500 games in the event and have seen 1 person I know to be cheating and 1 that I suspect.
Cheating is reprehensible and should be tackled. But at least on the Light DC, cheating is barely present in the event.
@mitsurugi137 While I can understand that it feels bad, I don't see anything wrong with this. Isn't it most fair if whoever is first on the server side to win. Otherwise people with high ping would never win.
@Xepla How relevant is the video to what you wrote. I don't see any cheating there, just some desync on player locations, which is normal. Though I get that it can feel bad. In my near 500 games of the event, I've only seen 1 person I know to be cheating.
@JoeShely@JPiepiora Can anyone give a detailed explanation on how Overpower damage is actually calculated? (Preferably with a formula.)
Many online sources have slightly different variations on what they think it is and even the in game tooltip hasn't fully cleared that up.
@Outriders Is there a way to fix the Journal issue? I am still unable to complete my journal on my main character due to a bug that has existed since release of the base game.
Your balance changes and content are great, but QoL and other bug fixes leave something to be desired.
