The whole “Imane Khelif has XY chromosomes” rumor stemmed from a Russian telegram channel, and then that rumor was subsequently reported by a Russian news agency. That’s it. Russian disinformation.
Khelif is not a man. What we are seeing all over Twitter (@X) today is the result of rampant transphobia on this app spilling over onto someone that isn’t transgender whatsoever.
There are no transgender athletes in the @Olympics this year. We, trans people, have been trying to warn that this would eventually happen to someone that isn’t trans.
It’s now happened to Khelif, who doesn’t meet trad beauty standards & who isn’t feminine enough. Now she’s being transvestigated by all of Twitter.
Shame on you all for jumping to such heated conclusions about someone that doesn’t deserve it.

Er einhver sem hefur áhuga á að rýna í þessa hörmungar sjónvarpsmynd, sem slysast aldrei til að vera í fókus? Og hljóðið svona líka “rammíslenskt”! Erðanú sunnudagsbíó!
There is nothing remotely feminist about spending your day on the internet writing mean replies to people who believe that gender is more than the gametes you were born with
