A respectable showing with 10% first preference but I don't see a way through to ultimately make the top four in Cork East.

I may briefly get into that fray with later Green transfers but these will not be enough to see me through.

At the end of Count 2, in Cork East, no candidate has reached their quota.

The 615 votes of Frank Roche (Independent) are now being distributed.

With several other low count candidates still to be eliminated, it will take several more counts before a clearer picture emerges.
