The 1st pref vote share in #DUBNW compared to last time is interesting. Sinn Féin's share has fallen considerably from a massive 44% in 2020 with only Ellis running, to 31% this time. Independent/PBP/Aontú share all up. FF/FG vote static

The thinking here now is that no one will reach the quota at #DUBNW and that three candidates - Ellis, Hearne, and McAuliffe - will all be deemed elected without reaching the quota. This is the reckoning according to both Sinn Féin and Fianna Fáil. #GE24

The 8th count has been announced. Ellis and Hearne are now tied on 7,423 votes each. Fine Gael's Noel Rock has been eliminated and his 4,569 votes are now being redistributed.

PBP candidate Conor Reddy has been eliminated after 7th count at #DUBNW. His 4,199 votes now being redistributed.

On 6th count at #DUBNW right wing anti-immigration candidate Gavin Pepper has been eliminated and his 3087 votes will now be distributed. The quota here is 8184 and no candidate is close. Dessie Ellis is ahead, followed by Rory Hearne.
