We are building a public database called RTIBank where people can search for RTI data already obtained by others.
If you are an activist/journalist/lawyer who has a lot of RTI documents pls consider uploading & helping other citizens.

We are now under the wing of @ExotonOrg an Indian nonprofit helping protect human rights & civil liberties of Indian citizens. Established in 2016, Exoton is building technology to improve India's democratic processes.
Pick your favorite RTI denial excuse:
1. "may hurt country's economic interests"
2. "may affect national security"
3. "RTI is sacred"
4. "the room where the documents are kept is now haunted"
@shaileshgan@harishkkr@rtiindia Sir what Mr Harsh means to say is that the Directorate of Technical Education to whom he addressed the original RTI is responsible for inspection of the institutions. Despite that they have refused to furnish the information citing the sections 8 (1) h and j.
@Kumara0880 No as the information is personal to the individual. Unless you can give a strong reason for the disclosure to be in public interest it will not work.
@Apurv_Ed @rtiindia You can simply use the govt website at https://t.co/vJDpXY6WoG to do the same. The process is quite self explanatory. If you wish for us to handle the same you can visit our website at https://t.co/L1U3m2UdEt and fill out your request.
@_Dilipjaiswar_ Sorry about the delay. Sometimes tweets get overflowing and we miss a few. Here is a small guide to help you with the process “How to file First Appeal” @solamarpreet https://t.co/PSy4KPG2IN
@Prashant9266999@CMOfficeUP@PMOIndia Sir application is delivered. But PIO is not replying hence you will have to go for First Appeal. Sadly this is the only way. However you can claim compensation if you feel that this lateness has caused you financial loss.
