It’s hard to find the words tonight, as we search for the right response to the pandemic of violence & harassment we face on our streets, in our homes, workplaces & communities
Yet we stand in solidarity & fight, 50 years on from #ReclaimTheNight#ReclaimTheNightLiverpool

For anybody watching the Wayne Couzens trial: if you're stopped by cops and asked about what you're doing, you have the legal right to refuse to answer and walk away. You can't be searched or arrested just for refusing their questions. https://t.co/R6o3nEUTy2
My heart is heavy with the horror Sarah Everard endured and the trauma her family are going through.
I am praying for them today, for survivors everywhere, and for a world without male violence against women and girls.
Our inboxes are flooded this morning with the same heartbreaking question: "What do I advise women to do if they're approached by a lone, male @metpoliceuk officer?" Our answer, in memory of #SarahEverard is:
I'm also thinking of Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry and their family and friends. The police acted appallingly. ❤🖤🙏🏾 and that still hasn't been dealt with properly.
Our love and solidarity goes out to Sarah Everard’s family as they hear the news of her murderer’s sentencing today.
We remember Sarah by fighting to make sure that what happened to her doesn't happen again.

I hope for a day when the words in this poem are no longer relatable. Heartsick and raging for #SarahEverard
and #SabinaNessa and every woman that has experienced violence at the hands of men.

I'm so enraged having the same conversations OVER and OVER AGAIN about #ViolenceAgainstWomen AND NOTHING CHANGES.
#SabinaNessa murdered. A primary school teacher described as kind, caring and dedicated to her pupils.
When will this be taken seriously?!
