Newly weaned Chinchillas at 5 weeks old. At 7–8 weeks, we will select the breeding stock 4rm the litter and raise the rest for meat purposes rather than selling them all as breeding stock. Many farmers/breeders skip this process, thereby selling poor-quality rabbits to the market

But it must be clean, well-ventilated and secure. A fancy cage won’t save poorly managed rabbits. Good management will.

My take on this post: A year into rabbitry isn’t enough for a big expansion. Don’t rush it—keep learning while expanding gradually. Study them carefully: the feeding, routine medication, diseases & infections, and even the breeds. One mistake or error can wipe out the entire farm
