The Christian life begins with receiving Christ, but it continues as we walk in him day by day. As we grow rooted and built up in the faith, our lives become marked by gratitude for his work in us.

The Kaleo Conference is an opportunity for young men to step into a space where potential is taken seriously and the call to ministry is thoughtfully explored. Through teaching, conversation, and time with pastors and leaders, attendees are invited to consider what it looks like to serve Christ’s church in a variety of contexts.
From the pulpit to the campus, from local churches to global missions, this conference creates room to listen, learn, and discern. Rooted in the idea of being “called,” Kaleo exists to come alongside churches in identifying and preparing the next generation for faithful ministry.

Seasons change and circumstances shift, but the word of our God remains sure and unchanging. Isaiah reminds us that while everything else fades, God’s word stands forever.
Dr. Philip Ryken reminds us that preaching is not simply about including the divine attributes of God. Faithful preaching is a living enactment of his character. In the proclamation of the Word, God is showing mercy, revealing his power, and convincing us of his righteousness. He is actively giving his love to his people as they receive the ministry of his Word.
Dr. Ryken, president of Wheaton College, delivered the 2026 Hughes Lectures at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. His teaching calls us to see preaching not merely as explanation, but as a means by which God himself ministers to his people.

Union with Christ is the foundation of the Christian life.
Love does not begin with us. It begins with God, who is love in himself, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Christ, that love is not distant or abstract. It is given to us.
This reflection from Dr. John V. Fesko is featured in the latest issue of the Mind + Heart newsletter. In it, we consider how union with Christ shapes both our understanding of God’s love and our call to love others.
