@damiebi10 1000% this. Yet WB spent all of their time and resources, self-sabotaging themselves by chasing after MCU success and wanting to be like them.
The biggest problem with DCU is that it feels like MCU 2.0 - the audience that likes that type of movie has loyalty to the MCU
Snyder understood that the only way to make DCEU stand out is if they have their own identity.

Re-watched Man of Steel today and I'm 100% sure it has more heart than whatever that new mediocrity had. Man of Steel is and will be the best Superman movie of all time and so is Henry Cavill Superman.🙂↕️💯

Why is it such a big controversy to like Zack Snyder?
I have never seen this amount of hatred aimed towards any other director. If you don't like his movies, that's fine, but don't pretend they are objectively bad, because they are not.
> implode universe to chase mcu money
> loses money for years
> doubles down & reboots universe to chase that audience
> makes less than Man of Steel
Is WB/DC the dumbest studio ever?
Remember when superman's plot leaked on reddit & it was so bad DC stans accused Snyder fans of AI generating it to make Gunn look bad just for it to happen in the movie anyway and they all suddenly love it?
