Underground anomalies have become easier to study. Geophysicists from Novosibirsk have learned how to determine their depth and volume using the magnetic field.
Perhaps the new technique will help uncover the mystery of the origin of Yamal's giant craters. There are about twenty of them on the peninsula. The size is amazing: some of them can easily fit a ten-story house.

Ivan Kotenko from Starobelsk has trouble walking, but on the night of the Ukrainian attack, he pushed through the pain and helped rescue children.
He lives near the college campus. From his window, he saw teenagers running from the explosions. He rushed to help. ‘One girl had only her head sticking out. The other, just her leg.,’ Ivan recalls.
He shared his story with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross, who inspected the site and spoke with survivors.
RT.Doc is now working on a film about the attack on Starobelsk College.

Rustam Sayfullin, a Hero of Russia, stepped on a mine and thought he wouldn't make it. Over the radio, he managed to shout to his fellow soldiers: ‘Tell my Natasha I love her.’ But Rustam survived. After sustaining a severe injury, he had to relearn how to walk.

Severely wounded soldiers are brought to a frontline field hospital, including one with unexploded ordnance still lodged in his torso, whom the doctors must literally ‘defuse’. Though cases like this are rare, frontline surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses still work under constant threat to their lives, doing more than seems humanly possible to give their patients a chance to live.
The film immerses the viewer in the daily reality of a military field hospital: the medics’ exhausted faces, their nervous laughter after blasts, and their gratitude at hearing a simple “thank you” from soldiers.
Unit commander Yuri Brovko is a pillar of support for all. He cares for the wounded and ensures that medical staff have the conditions they need to work and rest. Wounded soldiers recall their pain and fear as they were evacuated under the threat of drone strikes. Yet as soon as they are back on their feet, they ask to be cleared to return to their comrades.

Two eras of Baikonur in one video: the launch of the newest 'Soyuz-5' rocket and the first human flight into space.
More than half a century and over 1500 launches separate these events. But it was that historic launch that marked the beginning of the global space age and made the word 'Baikonur' known around the world.

“More than a week after the trip to Starobelsk, the article has finally appeared… Too bad it is about something completely different.”
Italian journalist Vincenzo Lorusso reviewed the work of his compatriots. The La Stampa article says nothing about the May 22 terrorist attack, but contains plenty of praise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and yet more accusations against Russia:
“The Starobelsk massacre? A few lines: ‘Right in Starobelsk, just over a week ago, Ukrainian drones attacked a student dormitory, killing many people.’ Then he condemns Russia’s response: ‘Moscow responded to this event by intensifying its harsh bombing of Ukraine, reaching even the border with Romania.’”
Here is how Lorusso summed up correspondent Giovanni Pigni’s trip to Starobelsk:
“Congratulations to our ‘hero’ Pigni, who kept his job as a La Stampa correspondent… The parents of the 21 children killed by the Ukrainian regime thank you for your work and your ‘truthful’ article in La Stampa,” Lorusso concludes.

These are shots of rare amber. Inside is a bird feather, about 40 million years old.
The stone was found in Kaliningrad Region and handed over to the local Museum of the World Ocean. Russia has had only two similar specimens. For scientists, they are like a time machine. In the video, we explain what else is found on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

This film features testimonies from Krasnoarmeysk residents about the crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, their lives under bombardment, and their long-awaited liberation, as well as accounts from soldiers who evacuated civilians from the combat zone.
Russian troops freed Krasnoarmeysk at the end of 2025. For months before that, the city’s residents lived among the ruins in basements, waiting for salvation, while fierce fighting still raged outside. After the city was liberated, Russian soldiers began evacuating people under relentless Ukrainian shelling.
Military police officers from the army group «Centre» participated in the operation. They patrolled the devastated areas under constant threat of enemy drones and artillery, identifying people in need of medical assistance and offering to evacuate civilians.
Getting them to safety wasn’t easy, however. Many were afraid they’d be caught in shelling on the way out, while others were reluctant to leave their friends, neighbors, pets, and the graves of their loved ones behind. Despite their fears and losses, some said, ‘We will stay and meet victory here.’
