Huge M&A deal in the government services/A&D sector as ManTech agreed to be acquired by Carlyle for around $4.2bn this week. I covered the situation from March, including a report in April mentioning Carlyle's interest in ManTech. One of many scoops we have written in the sector.

In another space deal from earlier in the year, @JamesWardAcuris and I reported in March that AE Industrial-backed Redwire was working with Jefferies on a potential SPAC deal. Later that month, Redwire did a $650m SPAC merger with Genesis Park Acquisition Corp. Hot market now.
As I reported back in December, small satellite maker Terran Global was working with Jefferies with the potential for a SPAC deal. Today, it was announced that Terran Global agreed to do a $1.58bn SPAC deal with Tailwind Two Acquisition Corp. https://t.co/9flwxqKSVO
