I don’t know what to say about this but I feel compelled to write something.

John was one of the first guys to train me and pushed me way past what I thought I was capable of.

Whenever I’d see him he would always bring up the time I ran at the ropes with too much gusto and fell onto the floor. He laughed about it for an hour.

John was also the dude that brought me to one side at Defiant when I had a mini crisis of confidence about switching from a singlet to biker shorts.

Not only did he tell me I was jacked, but said “It’s wrestling, not bodybuilding and you look like you could kick someone’s ass.”

I have said those words in my head over and over whenever I felt that way.

I’ve no idea what happened but gone way too soon is an understatement.

I wouldn’t be a wrestler today if it wasn’t for John Klinger. Thank you. Thoughts with his friends and family.

So many times I arrived tired and weary in a foreign land, and Bad Bones was a friendly face that I was relieved to see; whatever weird wacky adventure awaits, we're here together. That's a unique bond that only brothers and sisters in our wrestling fraternity understand.

A great guy, gone too soon. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. RIP Brother.
