🚨 ARKANSAS MADE IVERMECTIN OTC. SO WHY IS CANCER PART OF THE CONVERSATION?

Arkansas made headlines in March 2025 when Act 396 authorized Ivermectin suitable for human use to be sold and purchased without a prescription or consultation with a healthcare professional in the state.

That decision reignited a much bigger conversation around Ivermectin.

Why?

Because researchers have been investigating something far beyond its established antiparasitic uses.

🔬 Ivermectin and cancer.

Laboratory studies have explored Ivermectin's effects on cancer cells, including mechanisms involving cell death and pathways associated with tumor growth.

But here's the part that matters:

Laboratory findings are not proof that Ivermectin treats cancer in humans.

Ivermectin is an established human antiparasitic medicine for certain infections, while its potential role in cancer remains investigational. The FDA's established human indications do not include cancer.

Then comes the provocative question behind the original claim:

If Ivermectin is an antiparasitic drug, does that mean parasites cause cancer?

No.

Cancer isn't simply a parasitic infection.
