We repent of our sinful ways. Humble and strengthen us by your Spirit to treat others with the dignity that you have given to your image bearers. (From Mosaic Silver Spring, MD)
Passage of the Week: Mark 12:28-34
Hymn of the Week: Come People of the Risen King
Lord, you have made us in your image and called us to treat one another with dignity. Yet, how easily we have torn down your image bearers by speaking harshly to those around us, by thinking ill of those who are different from us and by proudly placing ourselves above others.
It truly has been an amazing year marred by the world shutdown. We love our students so much, and it hurts to be so far apart. To our students finishing this school year, thank you for making UH RUF special. We look forward to seeing y’all next fall in school Lord willing.
Almighty God, we confess that we cower in fear, and squander the gifts You gave to us, wander from Your ways, and forget Your love. May we not hide from Your loving presence. Turn our face back towards You. Remind us every day of the joy of abundant life given in Jesus Christ.
Lord, in these times, it is easy to give into fear and despair. We become self centered when we should not be. Soften our hearts O Lord. Let us rest on Your unchanging grace. May it move us to continue to reach out to those in need of help despite physical distancing.
Join us for the final large group of the semester! We'll be discussing some relevant topics about quarantine. DM for the zoom login info if you wish to join.
I need you, O God. I cannot sustain meaning and purpose by myself. I don’t have within me the stuff to make life whole. I run out of resources. I run out of strength. In my emptiness I wait for your fullness. Fill me with life anew. Amen

Hallelujah! You have conquered the grave. Death is now powerless in Your victory Jesus. We praise You, O Lord. Thank You for bridging the gap to the Father. Thank You for your sacrifice to atone for the sins of our world.
Hallelujah, You have risen!
Lord, these are troubling times, and it is easy for us to not turn to You. May we be able to pause during these frantic times to pray for Your will to be done. May we be humble to not lay all our trust in our sinful self and renew our belief in Your plan.

Lord, as COVID-19 continues its spread, we pray that you would move the hearts of people around the world. May we be moved to be united in fighting this disease, that we would be willing to show the sacrificial love that your son Jesus displayed for the world...1/3
...by helping however we can. Give the doctors and the nurses strength and endurance as they continue their long fight. We pray for those affected economically, that you would be with them, and that we as neighbors would love them now. 2/3
