AMB Katahira met with @RutgersU President William F. Tate IV to discuss historic ties & broad exchange with 🇯🇵. He toured the Griffis collection, had a roundtable with students, a working lunch & a visit to the burial site of Taro Kusakabe, the first Japanese student at Rutgers.
