@socko0320 tbh I can't care about the program anymore after*that* season and the subsequent response (or complete lack thereof) by Pikiell. I hope they do well and I'll watch some games but I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say it's really hard to care about the program right now
@socko0320 no that's also on the coach, only at Rutgers does anyone argue that the coach doesn't have a gigantic role in fundraising or figuring out the logic of what it takes to win
@lexp08 I think it's a well deserved long overdue commupance. but mostly I'm just happy to see Harper playing well and somehow one of the best players on a finals team as a rookie
@minervas_muse they're not going to be able to artificially keep down labor costs without some kind of collective bargaining agreement. this is a childish waste of time
truly remarkable how all of these reporters keep telling us this stuff without ever questioning its legality or constitutionality as the powers that be feed us the same story repeatedly while changing the wording
Senators Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell have agreed on a bipartisan college sports bill called the Protect College Sports Act, a Republican Commerce Committee aide confirms.
They hope it can gain enough support to actually reach 60 votes in the Senate. Details in thread:
@minervas_muse actually, I'm bored by this. every month there's a new College Sports Bill that's going to solve everything. and then even if they can somehow pass something, obviously it won't be enforceable unless they're going to use the military. a total waste of time and energy
