There’s a World Cup Final being played today AND ENGLAND ARE IN IT — although you’d be forgiven for not knowing, given the lack of mainstream media coverage.
15:30 today! 🏴 v 🇦🇺 @HomeOfCricket
Can England beat the best women’s team in the world and finish their World Cup story with the perfect ending?
It beggars belief!!
The Rochdale grooming gang leader walks free after serving only 14yrs and there’s nothing to be done as he can’t be deported.
Yet they passed emergency legislation on pubs in days.
Changed Manchester election laws overnight.
Rewrote Covid laws in 5 mins.
But for the most horrific crimes imaginable they did nothing.
Maggie Oliver is right. This is devastating for the victims and horrifying for the rest of us.
Fix it now.
You haven’t just taken Henry Nowak’s life you have destroyed his family, his friends, the families of his friends and all his extended family. His school, his teachers, his Uni, his Uni mates all everyone else who knew him.
What you wretched creatures don’t realize you start a fission reaction of pain. A butterfly effects that destroys so many lives.
Like the destruction of my life and all others, when I lost my daughter Grace in the Nottingham attacks.
You then lied about the circumstances of the attacks which worsens your crime if that’s even possible.
You wretched creature you deserve the bowels of hell and a FULL life tariff without any appeal.
Vickrum Digwa is reportedly refusing parts of prison because he fears for his safety.
Henry Nowak did not get that luxury.
He was stabbed, smeared, handcuffed and left dying.
The killer’s comfort should not outrank the victim’s dignity.
The leader of #rochdalegrooming gang Shabir Ahmed is being released 5 years early from 19 year sentence. Why? He can’t be deported to Pakistan even though his citizenship cancelled. The British justice system is a disgrace
When strangers keep your secrets better ❣️
Ted & Co. met Catherine 3x in 24hrs!
On every climb & passed each other driving 2 the places.
She asked them Not 2 tell anyone what she was doing.
16 strangers kept her secret until she could share it herself❣️

I completely agree. The Conservatives have a solution.
We will amend the government’s Immigration Bill to close the loophole so that this man can be deported immediately. If Andy Burnham wants to show he means what he says, he should instruct Labour MPs to support our amendment. We need to make sure this vile individual never walks our streets again.
I led the team that prosecuted him & after his conviction expected him to be deported at the end of his sentence - I looked him in the eye & saw not an ounce of remorse - the Home Office need to find a way -it’s what his victims deserve, both the White ones & the South Asian one
Who was the doctor/health worker who did the assessment in hospital.
This was a grossly failed assessment.
The patient should not have been driving and should have been assessed properly in hospital, with a full MHA assessment.
Another beautiful child Josie Cartwright taken away from her family that will be much like my own family……devastated by the totally avoidable loss of our daughter.
When will mental health workers get it right….this is a national disaster that is not getting the importance it should.
Cartwright family, if I can help navigate through this and look over the clearly ‘failed’ mental health assessment please let me know.
My time is yours, I will help while you cope with the heartbreak like my family have had to.
I stand by your side…..please get in touch if I can be of some help.
My warm wishes and condolences to you🙏

Shabir Ahmed was convicted for 30 counts of child rape.
The idea that he could soon be walking the streets of Rochdale again is abhorrent.
If the law doesn't allow us to deport people like this, then the law is clearly wrong. The Government must change it.
The thing that shocked me most as Health and Social Care Secretary was the cover up culture in the NHS.
People in power must be held to account under a duty of candour.
We need the Hillsborough law now, to compel NHS leaders to give evidence on scandals they have witnessed.
The BBC has issued an official explanation on why it has failed to cover our rape gang inquiry.
'Complex choices' are made for editorial and practical reasons.
These choices 'should not be taken as indicative of bias.'
Their words.
But the BBC were very quick to cover malicious complaints against our inquiry, in an attempt to smear our efforts? They were then forced to later apologise about how they covered the story.
So either the inquiry is worth reporting on, or it's not.
They can't pick and choose.
We're told 'complex choices' are made, meaning that efforts to uncover the industrial rape of young girls is not near the top of list.
Let's take a look at a few stories on the main BBC news page, right now...
'Osaka pays 'love and respect to Japan' in Wimbledon kimono'
'Why £15 durians are being sold at half price - or given away for free'
'We had packed lunches every day for 10 years and retired at 40'
Are these stories more important than the rape gang inquiry?
I think not.
You cannot hate the BBC enough.
I expect no fair coverage from them, I've stopped expecting it.
But the BBC is funded by the British people.
Their continued suppression of our inquiry is a disgrace.
The unintelligence of people sometimes amazes me..😵💫
When someone like Meghan changes outfits 5 times in one day while simply sitting at Invictus, for no reason other than be seen. That makes sense to some people.
Now Catherine changing trousers during a grueling 24 hour, 23 miles hiking challenge of climbing three of Britain's highest peaks, THAT is suspicious and odd🤡
Have you ever worked out even for 1 hour in your life? You SWEAT.
How hard is it to grasp that "Hiking" is a LOT of leg work and is tough on the entire body, causing you to sweat profusely, especially through your trousers?🤡
Catherine hiked for 23 miles in 24 hours and climbed 3 different tops. Of COURSE, she would have a change of clothes, especially trousers and probably undergarments and tee in her rucksack.
She is the future Queen of the UK and is very aware that when she is in public, every aspect of her is scrutinised and dissected.
The proof is in all the people who spotted her and wanted to take pictures with her.
You wanted her to be looking smelly and stained with sweat to then be criticised for how she looks?🤡
"Oh it's not Catherine because she is wearing different bottoms" 😵💫
Are you unwell?
All these pictures are of Catherine, taken at different point during the challenge, by different people, who were pleasantly surprised and stopped to talk with her. They SAW her with their own eyes before taking pictures with her.
This is not rocket science, to cry out loud🤦🏽♀️
Catherine is out there setting goals and succeeding and she is living a happy life. She accomplished a very Arduous task to raise money for charity. She is doing her part.
Instead of worrying about her changing clothes, go achieve something that make you feel better about yourself instead of being bitter about her life, yes?😏☕️
🚨 I've listened to Andy Burnham's 10 year speech, where he looks Britain's new saviour in Zelenski uniform, bragging about what a success Greater Manchester is with my mouth open.
You would be forgiven for thinking Greater Manchester was close to perfect, an example to everyone of how his fantastic policies have worked.
Does he seriously think most of Greater Manchester is a success? or that he contributed to a shiny business sector, 2 world class football teams and the largest Uni in the country? because outside that...

Oh and now lets talk about debt. Bravo Andy... to achieve some of the highest deprivation in the country under his leadership, GMCA now has about £1.4 BILLION of gross debt and an underlying borrowing need of roughly £2.5 BILLION.
So his speech on "Hopes and dreams" is actually more like 'No hope and nightmares', his leafy suburbs and shiny city buildings can't really hide the truth.
You're welcome.
@KirstieMAllsopp I've always assumed it's another dreadful Americanism, from the influence of US TV.
If essential, the verbal phrase is pass away, not pass (and passing away is slightly better than passing, but best avoided as a noun). But I agree, why not just say death.
