@Robert_Laura425 It will be so interesting to see if we will eventually get to a place where there is no need to drive our cars at all. This will definitely disrupt normal traffic/road behavior and hopefully make it a safer space.
@MD_Ahamed1994 I can already see that most new cars have exceptional safety features. "smart" cars are definetely going to be the future for the automobile industry. Hopefully we can all turn to charging rather than gasoline fuel as well.
@KatZhang3 Hi Katie, I totally agree because I focused on AI in my prediction also. It is definitely scary that so many human-run jobs have already become obsolete due to robots.
My biggest takeaway from Digital Technology and Disruptive Change is that smaller start-up companies need to be risk taking and innovative in order to surpass static, safe, well-established companies. #DCIM353b
My prediction for digital technology will be that AI will eventually become so intelligent that mind controlled robots will be capable of the same human/emotional intelligence as us. #dcim353b
My time in the SC&I program at Rutgers has showcased my creativity, love for writing, and professional brand. My three internships and tutoring experience have allowed me to realize my love for helping others and being part of a team. #TXC19
I create content through my snapchat, which allows me to share whatever messages I want with my 'friends'. The iPhone is a disruptive technology that enables me to do so at anytime or place, whenever I have the desire to do so. #DCIM353b
Studies show you are more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down. Write down your short term and long term goals in order to be productive! ##TXC19 https://t.co/t1MlDtXZgE
@vmartinelli_ Great choice. Barnes and Noble is essentially a landmark for the college avenue campus. Everyone knows where it is and it provides a great service to students by having our books/materials for class.
@TelescoIsabelle Hi Isabelle, this was a great choice because this is a safe haven for every student of all majors to be productive and get their tasks done.
The Scarlet Knight mascot captures the essence of Rutgers University because he represents school spirit and pride. He wears the school colors, and gets the crowd excited #TXC19
@KatZhang3 Hi Katie, understanding the difference between a sustaining innovation and a disruptive one is essentially what this course is about. It will be very important to over this when studying for the exam.
@RUStudentKD Understanding how digital technology affects our friendships and romantic relationships directly correlates to the impact it has on society as a whole. It is very important to know.
@Shuran0412 I think this is definitely important to know for the exam because I have learned about the 5 adopter categories in most DCIM courses, and it is vital to understanding how/why we adopt new technology.
The 5 criteria for disruptive change: audience, culture, speed, scale, & impact are very important to know because they inform us on whether a technology is considered disruptive or not. Our class is essentially surrounded by these criteria. #DCIM353B
