VCU just sent Tennessee packing. The Rams stay alive, the Volunteers go home, and the tournament just got its first real shocker.
Tennessee came in with the pedigree. The SEC muscle, the high seed, the expectation that March belongs to programs with bigger budgets and louder fanbases. VCU didn't care. The Rams play with the kind of chip that only mid-majors carry. The disrespect fuels them. The doubt sharpens them.
