'He didn't just play for Boston. He embraced communities like Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. He showed up at schools, basketball clinics, community events, and youth programs. He spoke about educational equity, invested in young people, and consistently used his platform to support Black youth in Boston. It reminded me of the kind of community connection that made Reggie Lewis so beloved here.'
@KyleMalzhan Bad? Emphatic yes. People are crazy that say no one ever refers to Wisconsin as Wisco.
Not a Brewers fan but these city editions are horrible for a squad that has some of my most iconic stitches I’ve seen. Powder blues, pinstripes, cream city (bucks), these missed big time!
@BreeceH Just your normal Hawkeye loving, clown and jet hating human here…Truly! For real though you are the real deal Breece. Completely off the record of course! 😂 Go continue to shine bro!
@CommonSenseDOGE@officer_Lew Look up step and touch potential. Tragic situation but the ground and equipment is likely energized and they are unable to do anything.
Thank you, Matt John for this article, it most appreciated. https://t.co/Q017xMQ34s
Boston teaches you something powerful about basketball that my family has instilled in him since he was a young boy: the name on the front matters more than the one on the back.
The recent roster changes are part of chasing Banner 18, and Luka understands that better than anyone. The opportunity the Celtics gave him this year allowed him to show pieces of his game that, for 4 years, mostly lived in practice gyms and the G League. That opportunity mattered deeply to him.
But winning matters more.
Luka is bone-marrow deep, committed to this team. If his role changes, his response doesn’t, prepare harder, support louder, stay ready, and help the Celtics win however he’s needed. That’s who he is.
I believe Brad Stevens and staff saw this in Luka since Iowa where he improved every year because of his work ethic and heart, and why Celtics brought him here; a professional, a teammate, a worker who puts the mission first. Coach Joe recognize it. Teammates feel it. And ultimately, it’s proven only on the court.
Boston doesn’t ask for ego. It asks for sacrifice.
Luka is all in. 💚☘️
