WARNING:
If you are on a classic wallet (anything below version 2.5) you are NOT on the Ravencoin ($RVN) chain. Please beware of scammers trying to sell you Ravencoin Classic coins as Ravencoin over the counter.

Permissionless
Ravencoin tokens need no programmer, no centralized control and no special skills to issue. They can be created anonymously, easily and cheaply. Once created they are controlled by a private key and no one can change or censor them.
Securities don’t need a censorship resistant chain for protecting the holders from issuers: holders already trust an issuer or they wouldn’t own it.
Where an open source, distributed & decentralized chain offers benefits is because no party can order your chain to do something.
Dear @Ravencoin $RVN community. Please make sure that you are receiving coins on Ravencoin core v2.5.0+ when you buy them (e.g., OTC). Scammers are selling coins from the pre-Oct-1-fork blockchain as if they are real RVN. You only notice this when coins don't arrive at exchanges.
Don't trip over dollars trying to pick up pennies. If you believe in the long term success of $RVN, please support the development and completion of the roadmap before we circle back to the "asics on the network" debate.
A blockchain getting reorganized through a 51% proof of work attack is proof that the chain has value. There’s no point in attacking a chain with zero value.
