3 of our exchange students are doing a Senior Project together. They selected Random Acts of Kindness and added cultural customs and traditions. Jana Pallares, Chi Chi Onwunzo, and Antonia Werner are being mentored by Heath J. Chaney .

Darian Besancon's Senior Project has the goal of educating our students on the cultures of other countries. He will create a bulletin board for the countries that he selects. Mr. Wilxio Infante is his mentor.🇩🇪🇪🇦🇭🇳🇯🇲

Renina Brenly is mentor to Emma Prouty. Emma is doing activities to promote girls basketball from Biddy - Varsity. Emma is doing activities to promote girls basketball from Biddy through Varsity. Team building is an important aspect of this project. 💛🖤🏀

Adara Birkhimer is planning a Nike Club donut and hot chocolate fundraiser to raise money for the Genesis Cancer Center. Other activities will follow. Karin Barrick Moran is her mentor.

Jayden Rice is taking over the sustainable project of rebranding logo on the sidewalks and painting the large RV leading into the stadium. Amy Johnson is her mentor.

Hallie Wallace is organizing fundraisers to help get more lights for the Court House exterior illumination project. She is working on an event for Christmas. Mary Beck is her mentor.

Josh Woolard is continuing the Comfort Closet, which his sister, Morgan Woolard, began in 2019. He is going to expand to 7-8th grad and make hygiene bags to give to homeless. Mrs. Janell Davis is his mentor.

A big thank you to Dot and Randy for hanging the second state of Ohio made by Arik Lumbatis as his Senior Project last year. Bri will put the labels in when she returns from camp. But Dot and Randy are the BEST!!!!

Bridgette and Hannah made and distributed treat bags yesterday to 7-8th grade students. Their Senior Project is to do things that make these students and teachers feel welcome.

I am proud of all the 59 students who completed one or more Senior Projects. All of you were professionally dressed, gave excellent presentations, and the gifts to panel members were unique to your projects. You are the true character of the Black Bear. Congratulations.

After much deliberation by Day 5 panel members, they selected Caden Foster and Rebecca Unkefer as Best of Day. Congratulations. 4 out of the 5 days this year had a tie.
