🚨 Stephen Miller says the scale of welfare fraud is SO MASSIVE that eliminating it alone could balance the ENTIRE federal budget
"The amount that has been fleeced from us is in the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars."
"We could balance the federal budget if the only dollars that went out of the treasury went to individuals who were properly, lawfully, correctly eligible to receive them."
This should infuriate EVERY taxpayer.
The Mayor of Charlotte is demanding people stop posting this reminder of the lovely innocent Iryna Zarutska butchered by a savage on Charlotte public transit. He was on probation by a liberal activist judge.
@SauronDeciever@RachelG6649632@FarmGirlCarrie I think that @RachelG6649632's reading comprehension is perfectly acceptable. It might be advisable for you to phrase your comment in such a way that it does not appear as though you are endorsing the careless person behind the wheel.
🚨#BREAKING: The woman who was randomly shot in the face 6 times and st*bbed to de*th while she was walking her dog in Atlanta GA has been identified as 40-year-old Lauren Bullis.
The suspect, “Olaolukitan Adon Abel” was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her before neighbors came to the scene.
Olaolukitan is charged with 3 other "completely random" shootings and the de*th of another woman.
We do not have to live like this.
🚨 I won't sugarcoat it: now is when our Education Secretary needs to make a phone call to the president of the University of Michigan, and threaten to withhold $1.3 BILLION in federal funding.
Amir Makled is an attorney from Dearborn, Michigan. He's running in an election to become a Board Regent at the university.
He represented the pro-Hamas students on campus who were arrested for vandalizing the university's board members' homes because they refused to vote for divestment from Israel.
Makled has MULTIPLE tweets praising Hezbollah terrorists killed by the IDF, as well as praise for Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, which he has now deleted after being exposed.
He appeared on campus last week with Hasan Piker, who publicly stated, "it doesn't matter if f*cking rapes happened on October 7th."
A Board Regent at U of M is an 8-year-term. It would give this terror-supporter significant political influence over the university, as well as oversight of $1.3 BILLION in federal funds that will be distributed to professors, research, and departments.
This is an extremely dangerous new chapter in academia. If they can't become professors, this is how they can slither in and gain control of our tax dollars and influence over students.
This is THE fork in the road. Our Education Secretary MUST FACE THIS THREAT, as uncomfortable as it is.

@JLCes@HumansNoContext @JLCesIt It remarkable to consider that many individuals contributing to this discussion will, or have already, participated in jury duty at some stage in their lives. How can one arrive at a judgment based on a video clip that provides no context?
Its been 7 years, 3 months, & 3 days since Gretchen Whitmer became Michigan's Queen & Governor. How has Michigan fared since?

The Moon has no atmosphere, so sunlight strikes the surface directly and reflects off the light-colored regolith (soil) and the astronauts' white spacesuits without any scattering or filtering. This makes the lunar landscape and subjects extremely bright—roughly comparable to a sunny day on Earth, but with even higher contrast because there's no air to soften shadows or add haze.
Stars, by contrast, are extraordinarily faint light sources. Even the brightest ones deliver very little light to a camera sensor or film. To capture them, you need a long exposure time (often several seconds to minutes), a wide aperture, and usually a stable mount like a tripod to avoid blur. Apollo cameras were set for daylight-style exposures to properly capture the astronauts, equipment, and surface details: Typical shutter speeds around 1/250th of a second (or similar fast settings).
Apertures like f/8 to f/11 or adjusted for the bright conditions.
Film sensitivity (ASA/ISO) around 160—relatively low by modern standards.
These settings correctly exposed the bright foreground but were far too short to register the dim starlight. The stars were present in the black lunar sky, but they simply didn't expose the film enough to show up. If the astronauts had used long exposures for stars, the lunar surface and astronauts would have been massively overexposed (washed out to white).
