We are feeling the loss of a great man today, Nitamabit/Nii Gaani Aki Inini (Elder Dave Courchene), founder of @TurtleLodge and co-founder of @RWOKForum as just one part of his enormous legacy.
It is with great sadness that the family of Nitamabit/Nii Gaani Aki Inini (Elder Dave Courchene) announce that he has begun his journey into the Spirit world. He passed peacefully at his residence on Wednesday December 8th, 2021 surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
