@elalbright8@CroninLab@leecronin The manuscript is currently in preparation, however @CroninLab and @RWPow recently published work on the thermal protection of volatile guest molecules inside alkene-functionalised {Mo132} structures. https://t.co/P6L3vm1E2b
Check out this great poster by Alex about the Chemputer. It’s an automated, modular platform driven by a programming language made by the team!! They use it to make organic compounds.
Poster from Team Chemobot, Cronin lab!
Here we show a methodology with a robotic platform and algorithms for nanomaterial discovery.
Any questions welcome!!

@alexgelle@leecronin@CroninLab@UofGlasgow Thank you! Immediate plans for the keplerate-based structures relate to investigating host-guest chemistry interactions, targeting enhancing the well-established current ion separation properties of these frameworks. #RSCPoster#RSCInorg
@Marcel_Swart@leecronin@CroninLab The Mo130 shown has a 2- charge and the keplerate has the expected 42- charge with a disordered distribution of cations surrounding the POMs in either case.
@Lord_UoBradford @leecronin@CroninLab@UofGlasgow In this study, the POM, with cation protection was used as a PTT agent and DOX molecule support - so external to cells afaik. Molecular size <5nm so feasible in theory for intracellular use https://t.co/jKmOcfjuDl #RSCPoster#RSCInorg
@Lord_UoBradford @leecronin@CroninLab@UofGlasgow Thanks! General Mo POMs found use in catalysis and more recently anti-cancer trials. Keplerates in particular have potential applications in molecular/ion seperation - might be something we look into moving forward!
