Stephen A. Smith calls out a glaring “problem” with Democrats complaining about “free speech violations” after Jimmy Kimmel’s show was yanked off the air.
“Did we say that when Tucker Carlson was pulled off the air by Fox News? Did we say that? Or would we say that if Gutfield was pulled off the air by Fox News?” Smith asked.
“Government overreach, the Biden administration, and what they were doing [COVID censorship] when it came to Facebook and X. Were we as outspoken then as we were over the last few days?” he continued.
“When you’re able to point to the other side doing the same damn thing [that you once cheered for], then it becomes a bit more alarming because the word HYPOCRISY comes into play.”
Call me crazy but I thought the major violation of free speech last week was when the free speech guy got shot in the neck for promoting free speech.
Evidently, it was the vaccine salesman with terrible ratings getting fired.
Once again, a bullet has silenced the most eloquent truth teller of an era. My dear friend Charlie Kirk was our country's relentless and courageous crusader for free speech. We pray for Erika and the children. Charlie is already in paradise with the angels. We ask his prayers for our country.
