The records discussed publicly include:

DA Form 638 (Recommendation for Award)
The Bronze Star recommendation narrative
Personnel records confirming his service, rank, assignments, and awards

Those records confirmed that:

he served in the Army,
served with the 82nd Airborne Division,
deployed during the Iraq War,
and received a Bronze Star through the Army awards process.

Do you have his DD214? You do not. The publicly released information from the Army states the following: There has been no official government finding that Cory Mills committed stolen valor. US Army has verified his Bronze Star was officially awarded. No public evidence shows that the Army has revoked, rescinded, or invalidated Congressman Mills' Bronze Star. As of today, it remains an official military decoration.
