@CityofKigali@RwandaYouthVol1 have chosen to live healthy, drug-free lives. Our future is in our own hands. Let us stay away from alcohol abuse and drug use, because they destroy our future. As youth volunteers, in our continued commitment to patriotism,we will not allow our story to be written by intoxicating substances such as alcohol and other drugs. #HitamoInzozi #HitamoIntego #HitamoEjoHazazaHawe @RwandaLocalGov@RwandaHealth@KubanaRichard@Rwandapolice@RNPSpokesperson
Youth volunteers living in the @CityofKigali and across Rwanda, let us take to heart the message delivered by the Honorable @nsanzimanasabin Minister of @RwandaHealth . Let us reflect on it and work together to find lasting solutions for our personal well-being and the health of our nation as a whole.
Let us continue to be a constructive and energetic force for our country, and avoid becoming a burden because of drug abuse resulting from the consumption of illegal alcoholic beverages. Preventing this problem is everyone's responsibility,it concerns me, and it concerns you. Our country belongs to all of us, and it is our shared responsibility to build it.
Let us join hands in the campaign against these illicit, locally made alcoholic drinks so they do not destroy the strength and potential of our future generation. @RwandaLocalGov@KubanaRichard@Rwandapolice@RNPSpokesperson@JackyUrujeni

WHEN A PRODUCT IS RECALLED, STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY.
Not tomorrow.
Not after you finish the bottle.
Immediately.
Some people have been asking whether the alcoholic beverages recalled by @RwandaFDA can still be sold until the remaining stock is finished.
Think about it this way.
If you are eating food and suddenly discover it is contaminated, would you say, “Let me finish it first”?
Of course not.
You would stop eating immediately. In fact, you would probably wish you had never swallowed the first bite.
The same principle applies here.
When Rwanda FDA orders a product to be recalled, the safest decision is to stop consuming it immediately,
✍🏽 even if you already have it at home,
✍🏽 even if it is still on a shelf somewhere, or
✍🏽 even if a shop has not yet been reached by inspectors.
⚠️ A recall is not a suggestion. It is a public health measure.
Some people also ask, “But wasn’t this product licensed?”
Yes. And that is exactly how regulation works.
Issuing a licence is not the end of regulation. It is the beginning of continuous oversight.
As scientific knowledge advances, inspections continue, manufacturing practices change, and new evidence emerges, regulators reassess products and take action whenever they identify risks or non-compliance.
No regulator can stand beside every manufacturer every day.
That is why manufacturers have a responsibility to comply with standards at all times, and regulators have a responsibility to intervene whenever those standards are not met.
As citizens, we also have a responsibility.
Respect recalls.
Follow official guidance.
And make responsible choices.
Remember: Drinking responsibly is not only about avoiding drunkenness.
It is also about protecting our health, making informed choices, and trusting the systems that exist to safeguard the public.

Choose wisely. Protect your health.
