I can't believe I'm saying this, but Susan Collins is our path forward.
We have 50 votes.
End the filibuster. Secure our elections.

Tonight, a carriage horse collapsed and died in Central Park. We do not yet know this horse’s name, age, history, or what caused their death — but we do know this: no horse should spend their life pulling a carriage through the streets of Manhattan.
We have seen this before. Ryder. Lady. Aisha. Charlie. Smoothie. And now another horse whose life ended on the pavement.
This moment demands more than outrage. It demands action. On Thursday, the City Council will reintroduce Ryder’s Law — legislation to finally transition New York City away from horse carriages and retire the horses to sanctuaries.
That future will include the workers, too. Carriage drivers deserve a real transition plan with stable jobs, protections, and benefits — and we are ready to work with TWU and all stakeholders to make that happen.
But doing nothing is not an option. Another horse is dead on the streets of New York City.
For the horses. For the workers. For New York City.
Pass Ryder’s Law.
Let the record show: Mike Lee is not a bridge-burner.
He has worked every channel to pass a bill with 75% public support. He has kept relationships intact. He has cooperated with the same institutions that are paid hundreds of millions of dollars to promote election integrity abroad, and asked them only to apply the same standard at home.
There is a hypocrisy in treating voter ID as an obstacle to democracy rather than a feature of it. The National Democratic Institute, the Democratic Party's own international arm, has spent decades and billions helping far less developed countries implement voter ID far stricter than SAVE America Act, all under advancing "democracy."
What Democrats (and Republicans) fund in African countries, they fight in Washington.
Mike Lee has played the institutionalist. He has been patient, procedural, and cooperative. But if the SAVE Act cannot pass a Senate his party controls 53–47, that patience will have been proven pointless...
And the Mike Lee who emerges from that failure will not be the one the Senate been negotiating with.
Governor Sherrill, in all your "compassion", you are welcome to visit and inspect my daughter Katie’s resting place.
Katie was killed by an illegal immigrant protected and enabled by Illinois sanctuary policies.
She received no consideration from any of Illinois one party supermajority "leaders".
She received no due process and first responders had to pry her lifeless body out of the vehicle.
I'm sure you'll want to hear the full story, unlike Illinois politicians.
Perhaps you can show Illinois and @GovPritzker that compassion should not be selective, conditional, or reserved only for causes that serve political ambition.
This is “environmentalist” Mark Zuckerberg’s yacht. It’s 87 feet longer than a football field. It burns over 1100 gallons of fuel per hour.
In a college commencement speech he urged students to help “stop climate change before we destroy the planet” as one of the defining issues for their generation.
Either he doesn’t really think man made Climate Change is a problem, or he’s one of the biggest selfish narcissistic assholes the world has ever produced.
These are the same people who say we should live in 15 minute cites, use electric stoves, drive electric scooters & eat bugs.
Whatever these Billionaires say, I’m doing the opposite.,
We TAKE their freedom.
We TAKE their autonomy.
We TAKE their calves.
We TAKE their milk.
We TAKE their health.
We TAKE their lives.

That bread you're tossing to the ducks malnourishes the adults and can leave the babies unable to fly for the rest of their lives.
Bread is junk food for a duck. It fills them up so they quit foraging for the bugs, plants, and seeds that actually feed them.
In a growing duckling, a diet that heavy in empty carbs makes the wing grow too fast and twist at the joint. The feathers jut out sideways, the wing never works right, and the bird is grounded for good. It's called angel wing, and in an adult it can't be undone.
It doesn't stop at the birds. A pond where people dump bread gets crowded and aggressive, ducklings never learn to find their own food, and the soggy leftovers rot into algae blooms and draw rats.
If you want to feed them, give them food, not filler: cracked corn, oats, halved grapes, chopped lettuce, a handful of thawed peas.
Better yet, just watch them. A healthy pond already feeds its ducks. They were doing fine before the bread showed up.
Folks, we're dealing with a fraction of a percentage point difference, there's still hundreds of thousands of votes outstanding, and LA officials have given us the next 3 weeks to count! Let's git-r-dun!
I just had the most awkward/embarrassing experience with @Delta gate agents at 88A LGA. It was almost like they were mad I needed to pre-board. I fly 3-6 times a week and have never had that happen.
