While composing #TarSands, I was watching videos of these incredible tar sands mining sites. The earth is scarred and bleeding black, as monstrous vehicles gather the bitumen-saturated sand to be processed for oil.

Each track on the record is an imagined soundtrack to a cause or effect of climate change. Tar Sands are a resource intensive source of crude oil, which has only been turned to as traditional sources of oil have started to be exhausted.
