Ronda Rousey just LOST IT on UFC champion Kayla Harrison ๐ณ
โThe only reason she has a job is because of me. She has the charisma of a wet towel.
The b*tch isnโt even bigger than Paddy the Baddy. Why is she getting paid less now than I was 10 years ago? Riddle me this b*tch.โ
The recent snub of Eli Manning into the Hall of Fame got me thinking about so many other Giants, past and present, who seem never to get the respect they deserve. Ask Andrew Thomas.
You can already tell that Jaxson Dart is going to get the Eli Manning treatment from the national media.
Call it whatever you want, but there does seem to be an agenda with certain players.
All you heard from talking heads during Dart's rookie season was debates about his style of play.
Talk to a non-Giants fan and they think Dart barely survived his rookie season with reckless play and dozens of concussions.
The media misleads people about his style of play. Dart plays no differently than Allen, Lamar, and other dual-threat qb's. No one says a word. They praise their "toughness" and ability to get the extra yard.
Is it just that he is a rookie, and has not earned the praise? Maybe. But a narrative has been created.
Much like Eli, Dart will forever be compared to those in his class. Most notably Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
A push has also been made to value Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough ahead of his trajectory.
Eli Manning retired from the game, ranking in the Top-10 in all major passing categories. Yet the narrative was about his defenses and his .500 record. As many point to this when trying to justify his failure to gain a HOF bid.
At the end of the day, Giants fans have been here before with an Ole Miss quarterback.
We don't need the personal accolades, or headlines. The only stat that matters is reaching the top of the mountain. Jaxson Dart has every tool it takes to be the next quarterback to take the franchise there.
Ultimately, that's what angers Eli Manning's detractors the most. When everything was on the line, on the biggest stage, no one could beat him. Perhaps Dart's biggest asset is just that. To give everything he's got when everything is on the line.
I'll bet on Dart ๐ฏ
