It's a call to action, an urgent one.

Like it or not, China is the new center of the global automotive industry. Its scale, speed, supply chains software and subsidies are overwhelming Western automakers.

For evidence, check out the Chinese cars flooding into Mexico, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Thailand. the UK, the UAE, Israel, Singapore and Spain.

America's auto industry is the underdog. We must find new and inventive ways to compete – starting right now.
