But even in Scooby Doo 2 @MatthewLillard shows up man. He acts the hell out of that role, especially the scene at the lake wishing to be a hero on purpose like damn. the rest of the cast could be just anyone, comparatively
@MatthewLillard is very underrated as an actor, so much range and there's an understated presence that fits the role every time- always a great performance
I know Scooby Doo and without a paddle are iconic, but as I watch monsters unleashed again, SLC Punk is a great outing for him amongst other great performances
I don't know who needs to hear this, but Freddy Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard in a Scooby Doo meets Cabin in the Woods style movie... Directed by James Gunn? Idk just make it for me
Like everyone hates on Moash, but he isn't much worse than Dalinar, we just catch Dalinar at a pivotal moment in character development. Comparatively, Moash isn't worse than Dalinar, he just needs a chance.
Roy Mustang helped comit genocide. He ends up being portrayed as a worthy leader because he regrets it. But like, he still became world famous for being really good at genocide. What is the message from his arc?
If Isaac McDougal had waited until the series came around, like one Mustang on your team is OP, but two? Think of Freezing Alchemist vs Envy on that snowfield. Game changer
And on doing so they found futility in developing alchemy as a strength/weapon so it didn't quite fit into the progress of the series solution but offered a hope for the potential of growth after Father was defeated
Transmuting without a circle is basically using your body as the transmutation circle. It would have been cool if they found and enlightened being who could transmute without a circle, bitt coming across the ability organically gave a certain spiritual enlightenment
But the reality is that the most fireghtening part of transmuting without a circle is that he could have learned and done any type of alchemy without the need for aides like Kimbly or mustang needed, he was just too young to learn their techniques yet
I never thought Edwards alchemy without a circle was remarkable because he used basically one kindvof alchemy, which seems weaker than those with tattoos like Kimbly or gloves like mustang to do the same thing (or stronger) without his "truth" experience
If you don't physically smash the scissors/cover the rock/cut the paper you didn't actually win that game of RPS. Same basic principle as forgetting to call Uno.
12 minutes in to the movie, Crimes of Grindelwald lost me. The plot, apparently, is that magic hitler escaped prison, and we need an awkward zookeeper to take him down because... Fuckall?
