Yikes: Drake Maye completely underthrows a wide-open AJ Brown, which would've been an easy touchdown.
AJ bails Maye out by drawing the pass interference.
😬😬😬
Moment of the night: Democrats refusing to stand to affirm their allegiance to American citizens over illegal aliens. Will be signature moment of this speech. Trump nailed them.
JUST IN: President Trump tells everyone to stand during his SOTU speech who believe the first duty of the U.S. government is to protect American citizens, not illegal immigrants.
Almost no Democrats stood up.
@NYCMayor hey genius, why don’t you first look at cost cutting before you raise property taxes, which, in turn, will raise rents on working class citizens. You say NYC has been mismanaged. You realized you were voted to manage it, right?
A million seconds ago was October 11th
A billion seconds ago was 1993
A trillion seconds ago was 30,000 B.C.
The US national debt is now rising by $1 Trillion every ~180 days.
John Fetterman brings the Kennedy Center to complete silence as he delivers this emotional message on stage:
“I know and I love people who voted for President Trump. They are NOT fascists, they’re NOT Nazis, they’re NOT trying to destroy the Constitution.”
“I REFUSE to call people Nazis or fascists. I would never compare anybody — anybody to Hitler.”
“Like Charlie Kirk, all I could say is let people grieve — give people the space. I’m not going to use that terrible thing and that assassination to make my argument and try to put out my views.”
“It’s like, my God, he’s a father that had his neck blown out by a bullet. And now people have forgotten: President Trump was in my state — was shot in the head. Could you imagine where our nation would be if he were hit in the same way as Kirk? We really got to turn the temperature down.”
It’s a sad day for our nation.
Our government shuts down at midnight.
I voted AYE to extend ACA tax credits because I support them—but I won’t vote for the chaos of shuttering our government.
My vote was our country over my party.
Together, we must find a better way forward.
GOV. COX: “We have to figure out how it came to be that a kid with a 4.0 [GPA], with a 34 on the ACT, with a full ride scholarship at my alma mater, who didn't even last a semester, drops out and ends up doing something like this.” 🤔
Bill Maher: “Trump is, I think, talking now about bringing back… insane asylums. Trump takes advantage of all these things that Democrats just let fester. That life on mass transit just becomes this game of Russian roulette or the streets many places where you just have to dodge and just accept the fact that there are some nutty people out there that could do God knows what.”
Ben Shapiro: “By the way, the victim in that case, [Iryna Zarutska], do you know what she was wishing for, Daniel Penny?”
“You wonder why nobody will step in and stop anything? Maybe because you won’t put enough cops on the street to stop this, and then if a civilian steps in to try and stop it, you try him while giving everyone else cashless bail in the city of New York.”
Bill Maher delivers a brutal message to Democrats still calling Trump “Hitler.”
Kirk is dead, and Maher has had enough of this sh*t.
“Okay, first of all, assholes, he’s not Hitler. Okay? An insult to everybody in the Holocaust, to begin with. Second of all, calling somebody Hitler makes it a lot easier to justify things like assassination. Let’s put a shitload of that away, shall we?”
Stephen King should be commended for this, not further dragged. He acknowledged a making mistake, set the facts straight, deleted the original tweet, and apologized for it. Twitter would be a better place if we saw more of this.
This was one of the most disgusting and evil things that I’ve ever seen. Just before we learned Charlie had passed, we tried to lead a prayer on the House floor - praying for his recovery after he was tragically shot. The Democrats started booing and yelling at us. It was absolutely disgusting. Their rhetoric caused this, and their actions today show they have no remorse!!!
RIP Charlie Kirk. It doesn’t matter what your opinion is of Charlie or his politics if you don’t view this as one of the darkest days in American history than you are part of the problem.
